Fa-reezing

WTH winter?! Seriously, 5 degrees? What heck is that?! It's certainly not a real temperature that's for damn sure. Being a Colorado native, I'm fully aware that winters in CO can be bitterly cold. I am also aware that winters can also have temperatures in the 60s. Needless to say, I prefer the latter. I should be grateful because, at the moment, we aren't buried in snow and ice. (Oh, that day will come and there will be a bitchy blog about it for sure!) However, it's been far too cold for far too long. I don't know if we've been above freezing for over a week now. My furnace is working double time, my car wheezes trying to warm up and my own personality has been iced over. And what makes it even awesome-r is that yesterday was the first day of winter. Blech! The season just started and I am longing for the summer.
